Positions Available

LAWN CARE SPECIALISTS will primarily apply our 6-step Lawn Fertilizing Program in a timely manner. This will include mixing, as needed, solutions which may or may not include: fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides. Solution(s) are applied via technical equipment such as machine or backpack sprayers on lawns. In the autumn season, tasks may also include lawn aeration and grass seeding, using machines and spreaders. When weather conditions are not favorable for turf care tasks, the Lawn Care Specialist may assist mowing crews. Responsibilities include cleaning and the light maintenance of operating machinery and ensure the overall safety in designated areas

IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN Enjoy the outdoors while developing skills and providing detailed service as an IRRIGATION / LIGHTING TECHNICIAN. An Irrigation / Lighting Tech will provide detailed service to clients by installing & maintaining irrigation and landscape lighting systems, hang & remove holiday lights, and other tasks are assigned in “off” seasons. Problem-solving skills desired. Must be flexible, as duties will vary, and follow job safety procedures. Must be able to dig, move, and lift in a fast-paced environment, without physical restrictions, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. May call clients to schedule service. Will use hand or power tools or equipment, may use ladders. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: digging, sprinkler or irrigation pipe installation, sprinkler or irrigation pipe repair, install or repair landscape lights, replace landscaping light fixtures or bulbs, winterizing irrigation systems and opening systems in the spring.

LANDSCAPE CREW MEMBER Enjoy the outdoors while developing skills and providing detailed service as a LANDSCAPE or HARDSCAPE CREW MEMBER. A LANDSCAPE CREW MEMBER will assist their crew in providing detailed service to clients by installing and maintaining a variety of elements in residential and commercial properties, with other tasks assigned as needed. Primary tasks are the seasonal "cleanup" of plant beds; the planting of flowers, shrubs, & trees; mulching; weeding; shrub and/or tree pruning; trash removal; sod laying; and leaf and snow removal according to the season. Some of these tasks involve digging, raking, watering, and the use of hand and power tools and equipment. A HARDSCAPE CREW MEMBER will assist their crew in constructing a variety of features which could include, but are not limited to: installing paver patios, outdoor kitchen structures, pergolas, installing concrete areas, installing sod, planting or removing trees, installing natural stone walls or other structures, installing drainage systems for water control, and may also assist with the seasonal tasks of mulching, leaf removal, snow removal, or work as a landscaping crew, if needed. Some of these tasks involve digging, raking, watering, and the use of hand and power tools and equipment. All crew members will follow job safety procedures and assist in proper care of equipment and tools.

MOWING CREW MEMBER Enjoy the outdoors while developing skills and providing detailed service as a MOWING Machine Operator (Mowing Crew Member). A MOWING Crew Member will maintain grounds of client's property, using power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, light weeding, and use of a backpack blower. Other tasks assigned as needed. Responsibilities will also include machinery cleaning and, after training, light equipment maintenance. Crew members will be expected to follow job safety procedures.

CREW LEADERS Positions available in all departments for experienced applicants with a valid Indiana driver's license.

  • Previous experience welcome but not required

  • Some Saturday hours required in spring (March, April, May, June)

  • Work is outdoors in all weather conditions

  • No winter lay-offs – all assist with snow removal and other tasks in winter

  • Must be physically able to perform a variety of tasks
